MethylCobalamin, the active coenzyme form of vitamin B-12, is essential for cell growth and replication. It is more concentrated than other forms of B-12 in the cerebral spinal fluid where it can be used by the central nervous system. It donates methyl groups to the myelin sheath that insulates certain nerve fibers. It is more highly absorbable than other forms of Vitamin B-12, such as acetyl-cobalamin. It plays a role in maintaining a healthy sleep-wake cycle, immune health and promotes normal nerve function.

Deficiencies in Vitamin B-12 are associated with fatigue, as well as nerve problems such as neuropathy. The 5mg cherry lozenges dissolve under the tongue for optimal absorption.
